many of my friends who studied Chinese are living in China and they were inviting me for long .so finally I decided to go to china .got visa and booked a ticket from New Delhi to Kunming .kunming is the capital of south eastern province Yunnan . this is the only part of the main land china which is very near of India . i boarded a flight on 6th November 2019 and after a 3 and half hour flight landed in Kunming. it was a night flight and i landed there around 11 pm [chinese time ] after some interrogation at the immigration counter they let me go .they asked me why i went to Egypt and other gulf countries.i told the immigration officer that i am a scholar and traveler and i go to different countries regarding my studies [from flight i took some photo of Himalayan range.probably Kanchenjunga massif is visible ]

Yunnan is not part of mainland china from a historical perspective .thats why security was very tight at the airport. and that time the xinjiaang issue was hot so Chinese authorities beefed up security .. it was night time and i had to go to Lijiang city which is about 550 kilometer from Kunming city .high speed train was the most convenient and time-saving option .i opt to stay at the airport waiting area till morning because there was no need to expensive hotel for 5 hours so spend the night at waiting area .cpuld not sleep properly .next morning enquired about the railway station location of Kunming and changed metro train 5 times and booked high speed train ticket for around 2400 rs .kunming railway station was impressive.
