Accidents in India

HI,
I just saw a video of how an accident could have been averted but impatient or unskilled driver ensured accident took place.
I thought it is time we create a thread to compile the incidents.

This thread can be used to narrate near miss accidents.

At the end of the video you can see driver of the trailer walking coolly away as this incident is not his botheration.

One needs to partly blame the authorities of NHAI or State highway, absence of bus bay is also for the reason of this accident.

I think the trailer driver had motion blindness driving in this stretch.
This can happen to any one of us.
Be Alert and drive safe.

I picked up this video from this blog / link: Over Speed; Container Lorry met accident with a Pickup Van – CCTV VIDEO

I had a near miss accident on Sunday afternoon. I switched from left lane to right lane 30 km before Hyderabad to overtake an Alto car, behind Canter LCV which was moving far ahead. All of a sudden Canter LCV slowed down and finally STOPPED to take U-turn. I had to brake hard. Luckily no vehicle hit my car at the back.

Look at this accident:

Vitarra Brezza cut the car too quick while overtaking and was like rear end impact - making it to to lose traction / control.

Hi Gaurav,
Wishing you a speedy recovery.
Were you sleeping in the back seat of car or bus?
If one is sleeping in the back set of car [flat]; though with folded legs I recommend one to wear the lap belt. It would provide some restraint.
