A family on a bike was speeding away on the Agra-Lucknow expressway on Sunday. Everything appeared fine, except smoke coming from the bike. The biker, his sister and minor daughter were unaware about the fire. It was sheer luck that a UP Police patrol vehicle - 1617 noticed the fire. Three cops: Om Singh, Vikram Singh and Amit gave chase to bike and alerted them. The family was saved from a lethal accident. The three riders belonged to UP’s Mainpuri district. UP DGP OP Singh praised the cops for averting a disaster.

This was around 2:30 AM on Sunday morning when I was driving on 2 lane road, 2 vehicles on the opposite side had high beam on and because of this I was blind folded, luckily at the right moment I saw a lorry and was able to steer off from rear heading the accident.

Lesson learnt:
It's better to dip to lower beam when you see a lorry or heavy vehicles parked in opposite side of 2 lane roads to benefit the road users.

Yesterday Overconfident Baleno Driver with wrong judgement while overtaking was successful in damaging 2 cars, on 2 lane road between Udupi and Agumbe
1. Swift Diesel (Gen 2) which Baleno overtook
2. Taxi Innova which was coming peacefully from opposite side.

Damaged Baleno front:

Interesting both Front Airbags opened up.
Driver side Airbag got dislodged from steering wheel and was sitting on the Rear seat on the left side. Injuring the driver forehead, was very much surprised to see how Maruti Suzuki can build and sell car like this. Purpose of providing Airbags is lost.
I am not sure driver was wearing seat belts. Probably he was, else I doubt Airbags would have activated.
Luckily other 2 cars there was no injuries to driver and passengers.
Due to the impact both the cars were pushed off the road into the side ditch.

This is really scary. Streets are full of stupid drivers.

Interesting to know that in India be it Techies or celebrity don't give any importance to safety.

Actress along with Techie friend was Traveling in Harrier on ECR from Chennai to Mahabalipuram.
Driver hit the road median and car toppled.
Due to injuries Techie friend succumbed to injuries, this indicates people sitting in Rear seat don't wear seat belts. Interestingly the Techie friend works in USA. People are lax to follow Safety protocol, for their own benefit.

As seen in the visuals, the Harrier has been totally destroyed in the cash with the entire car reduced to a mangled heap of metal owing to the severity of the accident.We wish speedy recovery of Aannand and her friends and offer sincere condolences to friends and family of Bhavani.

People pull seat belts string and sit over it. They think they are hoodwinked Police but they're playing with their own life. They don't understand that life is precious and take it for granted.

Looks like split second delay in acting can create Havoc for own car and other vehicles.
Luckily in this video though Ertiga rear ended Rapid, Rapid moved ahead reducing the impact for Ertiga. Though in the write up it was claimed there's no damage.
For the fact that Rapid driver felt an impact at Rear he slowed and stopped the car to look at impact.
Also the car tyres of Ertiga had already 1 lakh km, so it's exceeded it's life.

Irresponsible Rider over mobile phone riding on wrong side of the road crashing into other rider causing him to come below the wheels of 10 wheeler truck. This rider person should be charged with Attempt to Murder and his license should be suspended for life.
