I am planning trip to Valley of Flowers this August (END). I am planning to stay overnight at few places and hence require budget accommodation options at -

Haridwar

Rishikesh

Srinagar

Devprayag

Joshimath

Govindghat

Ghangheria/Govinddham

Please help.

u will find easily at every place prasham bro below 500 rs.august is not a tourist season bro in ghangria u can find even in 200 rs.

Haridwar : GMVN, Dharamshala & hotels.

Rishikesh: GMVN, Dharamshala & hotels.

Srinagar : GMVN & some hotels.

Devprayag : GMVN & hotels

Joshimath : GMVN & lodges.

Govindghat : Gurudwara & lodges.

Ghangheria/Govinddham : GMVN and lodegs.

No problem as plenty of lodges & hotels available across all the places.

ya.. and dont book in advance you will easily get accomodation everywhere which is suited for ur pocket

Does anyone have a specific choice for budget hotels at any these locations, especially ghangheria?

ghangheria or gobinddham is 14 kms trek from gobindghat and from here Hemkund sahib and VOF way seperates... Hotels are available here but as a pilgrimage night hault for sikhs the rate are a bit costly than gobindghat and risikesh... but you can stay at gurudwara and they provide bedsheets and blankets for free but ya water charges and eatables prices hike

I don't mean to offend anyone but are these gurudwaras clean enough? Do they have rooms or dormitory?

I went there around 6 yrs agon and the arrangement was nice (if not superb), but it again depends upon availability. This is yatra time and I doubt if u can get accomodation in GMVN hotels although road side hotels and lodges available in ample amount.
If u r concern with hygine then u can carry sleeping bag with u.

Haridwar - Alaknanda Resort of GMVN, on the highway to Rishikesh

Rishikesh - Bharat Bhoomi, GMVN - cheap and clean

Srinagar - GMVN again

Devprayag - GMVN, good hotel

Joshimath - GMVN has 3 hotels, so you can choose!

Govindghat - No GMVN, but local hotels would be available at about 500/- per night

Ghangheria/Govinddham - GMVN has a hotel but not operated after 15 Aug. You can find local hotels for 500/-. these will not be great, but manageable for a day.

Thanks sandeep. I am going alone & hence am searching rooms/dorm in range of 200-250. Is it possible?
