Affordable LED torch lights for "Light Painting"

hi all,

I'm looking for an alternative to those expansive gadgets used for light painting for night shots. my intended purpose is to just throw light on my subject with different colors of lights for night shots just to bring more fancy to the shots. please let me know where can i find such affordable LED torches multi-colored lights.

Use a normal torch and use gel filters on them. You can easily find these at photo accessory shops or you can order online.

What is your subject?
A small pen light will work for small indoor subjects however if you are painting outdoors then a larger light will be needed.
As Yogesh said, gel works fine for color.

Btw I have this Eveready 3W LED torch and as long as you don't want a wide spread, it works really well. Though it can be extremely bright.
