Why I fell in love with Photography?

Answer is Mumbai - The city of dreams from where it all started. This is the first photograph which I took using my new Sony DSC-W110 camera during my visit a couple of years ago and after that I fell in love with Photography and of course with the city itself.

The journey has just begun and there is a long way to go.

Keep Supporting!

Once Upon a Time in Mumbai !

Some photos are like good jokes. If you have to explain them, then they are just not that good. In some cases a photo shouldn't need a story to back it up. It has to speak for itself. ~ xyz

How can I focus on complete remote control and not on a particular area of a product? Same is the case with other photo. I used manual focus and tried to bring complete subject into focus but somehow I managed to get only a portion into sharp focus like in remote's pic middle portion is in focus and not the lower portion where Panasonic is written. Tried with autofocus only but same results. I am also not happy with picture's sharpness. Is it OK?

Camera is D3100, stock lens and shot @50mm, ISO 100 without flash.

Where I am missing?

What you are missing is the basic knowledge of photography.
What you get is the narrow depth of field. To get large dof shoot at f/16 or f/22.
