Today our plan was to move to Chandigarh. We started late. We spent the morning at that beautiful lawn of Kiarighat tourist lodge. After having our break-fast we left that place. We reached Chandigarh and Ravi told us to have our lunch at Pal Dhaba. Kiarighat to Chandigarh road was nice but road development authority were widening roads at different places. We directly reached Pal Dhaba. Had our Punjabi lunch there. Today was our last day with Ravi. We also told Ravi to join us but he denied. He was eager to take his lunch with his family at Ambala. We paid the bill for INR 509.00 at Pal Dhaba for 3 of us. We reached Himachal Bhawan, settled bills with Ravi as per our contract. At evening we visited local places of Chandigarh on foot. It is a very clean and disciplined city.
At night, we packed our baggage.
Day 11 (04/04/2018):
Today our itinerary was to catch Chandigarh Delhi Shatabdi express departing from Chandigarh 12:00 hrs and scheduled to reach NDLS at 15:20hrs. Then we had our vistara flight from terminal 3 straight to Kolkata. We left the hotel 11:00 hrs and reached Chandigarh railway station at about 11:30hrs. The lady manager from Himachal Bhawan arranged an autoricksaw for us. He took INR 100.00 to drop us. We boarded the train. Lunch was served by IRCTC at train only. It reached New Delhi railway station at about 15:30hrs. We came out from Ajmer Gate side and moved towards Reliance metro station. Booked our ticket for terminal 3 and submitted our luggage at Vistara counter there. Metro took 26 minutes to reach terminal 3. We straight went to the security check counter and reached gate no. 22. My clock showed its 18:00hrs. We boarded an hour later. My son was very excited as that was his first flight. Vistara departed on time and we reached Kolkata at 22:20 hrs. Food served in flight was nice. We reached home at about 23:30hrs and concluded our memorable journey of Pabbar Valley.
