From 1 and 1/2 year i have not visited any places due to work load. In September 2018, i have decided that i must visit ganjam district of Odisha. So Found December End will be the ideal time for me to visit these areas. Plan Prepare, list of places downloaded from internet search. I found i plan a lot of places to visit and in the end i have to skip few places. It is a regular process in all my journey till now.

1st day:
December 25th 2018, In Morning 9 am i left my home and move towards Sarang, Dhenkanaal District. Planning to visit Astasambhu Temple, Anantasayan Bishnu and Then i will move towards Athagarh, Then Cuttack.

I reached Pitri, Dhenkanaal at 2pm. which is nearly 194kms. It takes 5 hours to cover 194kms, as road condition is very bad from Rourkela to Rajamunda and From Barkote to Palalahada. Take lunch at a nearby Dhaba and Move towards Astasambhu Temple, Kualo which is just 2 kms from Pitri.

When i reached I found there are 7 Shiva Temples, called as Astasambhu Temple. Temples are most probably 9th Century. Right now preserved by ASI.

After spending some time their i move towards Anantasayan Bishnu which 3 kms from Astasambhu Temple, In my earlier post i have posted this place images. Then i move towards Athagarh to avoid traffic through Dhenkanaal Town Route. I reached Athagarh at 6 pm , met with a childhood friend after 25 years. Dome some chit chat and then move towards Cuttack. Night stay in Cuttack , as my younger sister is living their.

Reached Cuttack at 7.30pm. Take rest. Day End..

2nd Day:

After breakfast , Started my journey at 10 am. Today my plan is to visit my native village, uncle house, few temples, beach etc and night stay at uncle's house.

I reached 1st reached Shobhaneswar Shiva Temple, Niali, Cuttack at 11.30pm. This temple is a 9th century temple. Famous Shiva Temple in local area.

After spending few times their i move towards Madhab Temple of Niali which is 7kms from Shobhaneswar Temple.

At 12 pm I reached Madhab Jew Temple, Niali. Actually this temple is 5kms from Niali. Temple is dedicated to Bishnu. Very old temple, most probably 12th-13th Century.

I prayed their and done a little puja. Admire the beauty of temple , done some photo session.

Then move towards My Uncle's House which is 10 kms from This temple.

That newly build/painted top looks out of place on an ancient temple like this. These guys should restore it in a manner that it looks the same as earlier.

Reached Uncle house At 1.30 pm. Take some rest. Uncle and Anti see me after so many years, they were very pleased. After taking authentic village lunch rake some rest and then move towards Astaranga Beach, which is 30 kms from uncle village.

On the way I stopped at Barahi Temple, Tulasipur, which is a nice small temple, as per locals konark temple workers build this temple. Goddess Barahi is those workers main deity.

This temple is well preserved by ASI, a small garden surrounded this temple. This temple needs more exposure in tourism scenario.

Then i move towards Astaranga Beach. Reached beach in evening time. This beach is a famous picnic area also.

In my earlier trip i also covered this beach, so not posting too much images.

Then i move towards Kakatpur Maa Mangala Temple. It is one of famous shakti peeth. Take blessing of Maa Mangala, and back to Uncle Village for night stay.

On Next Day, I resume my journey towards Konark Sun Temple, reached temple at 10 am , found huge crowd , so decided to skip this, already visited Konark Sun Temple various times, I move towards Chandrabhaga Beach, which is 3 kms to Konark Temple. Spend few times in beach and then move towards Siruli .
