So I have a confirmed booking.
Being in NCR, Petrol is my only option. But FE is really bad.

Will make my decision after knowing true kerb WEIGHT.

XUV700 - 1620KG
XUV500 - 1740KG I think.
Old Scorio I think was near 1880KG. Not really disclosed.

Scorpio N - ???? Mahindra will never mention.

Even Thar is near 1800KG.

i also visited Mahindra showroom last sunday, got some liking on Z8 Diesel MT 4WD 7 STR, the delivery timeline they mentioned is 2 years and the sales guy is not so aware to answer every question on the product..guess their product is hot cake in today's time hence no need to be pushy

BCMTians having any idea/opinion/suggestion on Z8 Diesel MT 4WD 7 STR, kindly share...shall i book it today or wait for actual 'on road' review or look for other SUV ?

@jeetcp
Glad to know that you're planning to upgrade.
Yes for Mahindra their 3 vehicles are hot cake and do not expect any pampering.
To add this Toyota has withdrawn hot selling Innova Crysta Diesel in order to push Petrol / Petrol+Hybrid.

I hear Tata is also mulling to stop Diesel, focus on Petrol & EV.

Tata badly need a 1.5Turbo petrol and if they can, also a hybrid.
But I think hybrid is much complicated than EV. It takes 10+ years for international giants like toyota and honda to get Hybrid sorted.

By Scorpio N delivery is near Feb. Lets see what do I decide. A petrol with 2 ton is not FE happy.

This is 4X4, so 4x2 may have another 150-200 KG lesser weight

Wow,
You are great sir.

This information is not found anywhere. Do you have this car?

So 4x4 Diesel Kerb weight = 2140.
I assume 4x2 Diesel Kerb Weight = 1980
So 4x2 Petrol Kerb Weight should be = 1950

700 Petrol 4x2 Kerb weight = 1650. That means Scorpio is surely 300 KG heavier.

Thats not a good news for me. My N will be delivered in April. Its petrol. It could have a bad FE.

Sir see the details below.
