Tojo Bhai any idea how to go to Ziro without going to Dapo?

The only way exist now , apart from touching Dapo is , come down to the Assam plain , and then go to Ziro. A road construction was going on near Tato , which will connects it directly to Ziro, but that would take some time now.

If i will go to Assam plain again.. ILP issue...
The road construction from Tato will take hell lot of time..

Thoda Ladakh ka travel partner jugad ne mein busy hun. September 18th . By any chance are you planning Ladakh during that time? I am travelling solo.

If i will go to Assam plain again.. ILP issue...

The only issue with Dapo is people are not very friendly there, specially after evening, when they all are delightfully high. Apart from it it has many many advantage.

1) Along to Dapo route is very beautiful.
2) It will save atleast a day from you.

At the same time keep your option open, with multiple places mentioned in your ILP. When we were there , an airforce official has offered us a free fly to Assam in their jet- who knows whether you will also get the same offer. Just mention Along-Dapo-Ziro(any any other place that you want to visit) in your ILP. And if you are planning to apply it from Arunachal Bhawan Kolkata, it wont be difficult- the guy sitting there dont even know Arunachal Map ( He never heard the name of Mechuka, and wasn't even aware of there is any place in North Western part of Along). I had a long discussion with him and suggested him to visit atleast Ziro once.

The road construction from Tato will take hell lot of time..

Any doubt!!!! It will atleast take 2020 for sure.

Its been almost more than 18 months now , since we are back from Mechuka, and it left me spellbound , when I still receive calls from the villegers of Mechuka along with Gebu.

That is the exact impression of mine on Dapo.
For example from Along without going Dapo if i will take a night bus i can be in Itanagar next morning. and Ziro is just 5-6 hrs from Itanagar.. see here i saved a day and escaped Dapo

Good news is that Bogibeel bridge finally got some funds and dead line is 2017.

When for teh very first time i spoke to Gebu and gave your reference .. his reply was Madam ko nahi laa rahe ho

The last ferry from Dibrugarh is at 4 pm. It takes one hour to cross the river and within the next half hour you will be in Silapathar. Even if you dont get a direct vehicle to Pasighat from Silapathar, you can always do a break journey. This will take around 3 hours.

So, if you can reach the ghat by 4pm, i bet you can make it to Pasighat that day itself.

Regarding Tuting, you dont have to visit Yinkiong to go to Tuting. However, as you will be travelling in a shared sumo/cab, I need to inform you that sumos from Pasighat go to Yinkiong first. Then you need to cross a hanging bridge to get another vehicle for Tuting.

Also, I think you should travel by day time. You will not miss out any of the wonderful landscapes then

What about Silapathar to Along transportation ???

Better to bring a Post paid sim. I dont think prepaid sims from different circle work in this circle.

I dont know how difficult to get postpaid connection for BSNL here.. will see...
