I live in Bengaluru. I am not new to driving. I have an SUV for my out station traveling.

I would like to go in for an Auto Gear car for the chaotic bumper-to-bumper Bengaluru traffic. This will be my second car (Not second hand car but SECOND NEW CAR)

It could be any type of Auto Gear like...
    - Automatic transmission
    - Automatic Manual transmission
    - Continuously Variable Transmission
    - Dual Clutch Automatic
    - OR ANY OTHER type of automatic car

I don't need a Electric car. Any other fuel like petrol, diesel, Auto LPG is OK. As this is for City traffic, it has to be a small car ONLY.

Can you please tell me what are the options (Make and Model) available for me ?

Thanks in advance for your valued replies.

Pick any car, but make sure it has a complete 4-cylinder engine layout. And do check how it behaves while reversing.
Drop front wheels in a pothole like 4-5 inches deep, then try.
Then repeat it while reversing with rear wheels in the same pothole.

I have a Tiago AMT for past few months, and although I am happy as it ticks all my requirements right; noisy engine is the thing which I dislike most about it. Although it's silent inside cabin even during hard acceleration, but still I don't like the fact that it's making everyone else notice it trying hard. :)

Most AT cars have various driving modes these days. In case of more economic driving mode, chances are your airconditioner will be less effective as well. Check that as well.

In life, we must always Expect the Unexpected. Your reply was like that.

Hope your experience will help everyone who wants to buy an AT car.

... And by the by, anyone else with any other feedback, comments, suggestions, replies etc please?

If budget isn't a problem, Micra & Brio are the best small car that offers Auto Transmission. i10 & Celerio are two budget options. All these are proven cars and will be good enough for city drives.

Thanks a lot for the reply "adsatinder"

    =====================

I have already bought the car. And I have driven it for around 1500 kms. Hope I will get some time to make a story out of my experience, and write it here, so that it will be useful for others.

If you have bought Tata Tiago AMT, you have bought a good car.
The car gear shift was really good! I experienced it when I was part of the test drive last weekend. Tata has really improved leaps and bounds!
I did drive and maintain Tata Indica Diesel for 11 years.
