I have a big lump in my throat right now - such is the power of 10 years of the online bike warring fraternity. :)

I don't know man. I am all over the net past few days on the Duke and now this. Can't really recall so I'll concede this one to you. Good point!

Knock that lump down and post the source of the mileage bit you had been going on about for a while now!

Don't tell me that you guys didn't knew where to look for, any thing good related to Bajaj product.

If that is not all, the Pulsar 220 in the IDC was rated at about 38kmpl while the new 200 NS is rated at 54kmpl
So the corrected figure is 54 and not 58.
But with 220F IDC mentioned at 38, do I see doom's day approaching close? I never thought I'll live to see the day when anything bad about a Bajaj product will be written by ... ahem ... you know who. :)

This IDC thing I have been seeing a lot. A research website. Any link to where on it can I get figures for the KTM Duke?

P.S. Guys any idea what is that raised bump towards front center of the pillion seat? Its there on the CBR too and somehow I can't get my mind out of the gutter whenever I see it ..... :p

I wasn't asking for source for the FE of 200NS, but rather the 30kmpl figure he had been quoting for the 200 Duke
Oh my bad. I though, this being Pulsar thread, we were talking about Pulsar. :)

Btw, with Pulsar200 claimed to show a thing or two, not just to the CBR but to every other bike on the market in its class and then leave them for dead. I doubt if KTM200 can even come close to IDC figure of Pulsar200, that too with two spark plugs less.

For IDC numbers of KTM, you know where to go. You buddy in the automobile industry would be having the numbers with him. While, you talk to him, also ask him with Pulsar200 leaving every other bike dead, will he buy it or the KTM200/CBR250. I need to make a decision. :)
