A BCMTian has covered route Delhi to Mumbai few days ago.
He went via Indore (Night Halt at Hotel).

No one covered your route in my circle.
hello Satinder
I did the route in September as i mentioned earlier. Road is spick and span, absolutely clean route.
now only due to Covid not sure of the requirements and issues that will come up
secondly the recent spike in the last 1 week is another issue...expecting another phase of lock down now

Any way have raised all the possible state wise travel requests.
Karnataka - to be applied (site was not working)
Telengana - to be applied (site was not working)
Maharashtra - Applied (awaiting the permit)
Madhya pradesh - Permit Granted :)
Uttar Pradesh - Applied (awaiting the permit)
Haryana - to be applied (site was not working)

Best of Luck to myself ... :)

SDM
(Sub Divisional Magistrate)

Goto his office only to apply for ePass to avoid any situation on the way to Delhi.
We in Delhi-NCR also doing same.

Your own state ePass will work fine for all the borders district / state.
No need to apply for epass in each & every state on the route.

This is only the last way.

This is much possible as states are taking their own decisions.
Any State can close border anytime.
Containment Zones are increasing.
Other places may be open in same city / state.

Welcome to Lockdown 5.0

My friend went from Hyderabad -Aurangabad - Indore last week. As per him I don’t think you need to apply e passes for every state you are crossing just the destination should suffice. Also for many states like KA you don’t need to wait for approval, just registration at their portal should suffice.

This is a fabulous piece of information Satinder!
Another thing: make sure you have Fastag installed and updated with enough money. Karnataka to Gurugram would be close to Rs 2000.

Fastag means you will not have to open the window and interact with toll collectors thereby increasing your risk.

I also carried a large paper with large lettering saying “Full Tank Diesel, payment GooglePay” which I showed to petrol pump attendants to avoid physical interactions. On the highway they may not accept GooglePay so I guess refuel by amount : Rs 2000/3000/4000 etc.

I would probably stick an epass photocopy in my windshield so I don’t have to speak at anyone at every border or toll crossing.

Once you cover this distance please let us know your experience.

If you are passing through, should not be a problem. I Know many people who drove in and out of Maharashtra through the last few months.

You need passes only if you are entering or leaving a prominent city inMaharashtra. For example if you are on the highway you do not need an epass. If you want to enter Lonavala Town or Pune, then you need one.
