Hello Guys,

Want to utilize 4 days of extra long Holi weekend in March by spending in Kinnaur Distt. Please suggest proper itinerary, with budget and good stay options in Baspa or Tirthan Valley.

Thanks,

I been there to Chopta earlier, so this time, it would be either Tirthan or Baspa..:D
Day 0: Leave from Delhi @ 3pm, reach Zirakpur or Chandigarh, night stay.
Day 1: Reach Tirthan valley by afternoon.
Day 2: Enjoy morning, go to waterfall and reach Shoja by 3 pm, Go to Jalori and trek to Raghupur fort.
Day 3: Go for trek to serolsar lake.
Day 4: Drive back directly to New Delhi

If you want to make it relaxing then skip the Raghupur fort trekking trip and take rest and Shoja.

Baspa is river in Sangla Valley, near to Tirthan only. Villages around the valley are Sangla, Kalpa, Chitkul etc...being Chitkul is the last Indian Village..
Ok got it, Rakcham, Chitkul, Sangla and Kalpa.. But there would be snow there at that time, as hotel opens in April only, so Tirthan is a best option ....

Or you can look for Barot and Manikaran.

Naa Naaa, don't skip raghupur at any cost,,,grill ur legs,,,go to saleosar, come to jalori,, eat a bit and hike up to raghupur,,, if u r lucky U'll see best sunset of ur life, plus 360 degree view with Kinaur peaks, dhauladhaar all around, U'll feel like a condor!!
And yes March,April is best time to visit tirthan,,,midmay onwards lot of visitors r there and the place somewhat loose it's rustic charm,, with lancers, xuv, honda's all around.
