posting after many years,
Not much to write up, but enjoy the pics of the Autumn solo drive I did in November 2022. Stayed at Darchik village, Aryan Valley for a week to capture the golden autumn colors and then one week at srinagar to capture the chinar autumn magic.
Quick Drive route:
Day 1 : Gurgaon to Jammu by pass
Day 2 : Jammu - Zozilla - Matayen (Stayed at a first hotel I got)
Day 3 : Matayen - Drass - Kargil - Batalik - Darchiks : What a beautiful drive, a must do during autumn
Day 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 : around Darchiks
Day 9 : Darchiks to Srinagar
Day 10, 11, 12, 13 - Around Srinagar, Dachigam, Naseem Bagh, Mughal Garden etc
Day 14 : Srinagar - Pathankot
Day 15 : Pathankot - Gurgaon
I was driving solo so avoided the night drives completely
