Being a millennial - Ignis automatic ownership , tinsel blue with white roof .

Dear sir ,

If you have test driven it and liked its looks you can go for it . Ignis scores more than it’s counter part on interior quality , seating comfort , stability at high speeds . Ignis is much stronger than Baleno in terms of safety .

It was tough contest with Tiago petrol amt ie xza. Tiago won in all areas except confidence over their engine+AMT combination. Delta AMT ignis was chosen for its gem of Petrol engine+AMT combination. Plus we needed the car to be driven within city and elders will use it often both as self driven and as passenger. So practicality of easy ingress and egress also ignis won our hearts.

Also elders felt the suspension of Ignis to suit them more in same pot holes roads over that driven in a Tiago.

Look wise Tiago is neutral and Ignis is both aggressive masculine from front and childish from rear. Something unique I feel.

One thing is evident. For sure Tata has come so great and Tiago is already cannibalising sales of wagon r, Celerio, i10 grand and comparable cars.

Thanks for assuring me of the comparitively better built than a baleno. Even I felt the same at Nexa showroom.

Hello friends ,
After 1 year of ownership did my first long drive on my ignis . Did a 380 km long drive with rest of the trip on city . The car felt really satble at high speeds and even on hairpins and steep climbs . Got an average of 20.2kmpl with 50 percent city conditions .

Mediocre me
A petrol car, running 195 profile and returning 20kmph. Such a contradiction but true. Good one. :)

Mythbusters episode 1549: Wide tyres hurt FE? Verdict: Not at all.
Myth busted by Ignis.

We have also taken delivery of Ignis Delta (AMT)- Tinsel blue last week. Slowly driving him in city roads. Yet to open him up in highways. For sure it's a good car. I have got Reverse sensors, Rear speakers and Fog lights as accessories. Purchased 3D mats from outside and are good snug fit inside.

With both rear windows rolled down and driving at about >60-70 KMPH in straight highways I'm getting Phat-Phat sound as like sound of a punctured rear tyre. Is it design flaw and common to all Ignis or something amiss in mine? Can you please check and confirm me?
Car was inspected at Service center and did a self check. Nothing to complain about. When the windows are rolled up hear nothing. Very weird.
I drive a punto and needless to say that has the no such design issues.

kprasad,
Check if some small piece of stone or pebble is stuck in the any of the 4 tyres. With new tyres, there is possibility of them getting stuck and this may be creating the phat-phat sound!
