A trip to Ooty on my pocket rocket ( Ignis zeta Ags)
It’s been a dream come true moment , as I was planning for this drive since years soon after getting my licence in the year 2000 ( 19 years exactly ) as of today . Had done long drives with my cousins to Leh - Ladhak but was only a co driver rather than driving the car. This time I planned this with my cousin Arun Muralidhar . We both wanted a trip amidst of all tight schedules. Even though all this talks went well before a week of travel . He booked the hotel at Sterling fern hill Ooty . Though the hotel was blocked until the DAY we were busy like hell that was rushing all over to arrange on things like fast tag , did customers check up of ignis , packed the bags this all happened few hours before the drive and up we started off to Ooty on 29 of December early morning by 3.30 am and we hit oooty by around 10.30 am at kottagairi hills later reached hotel by around 2.30 pm At Sterling Fern Hill . We manage to cover up most of the areas to be visited in Ooty . The drive with ignis Ags was awesome . Dint even feel any tieredness even after driving around 8 hrs at a stretch starting in the morning 3.30 towards Ooty and back from Ooty at 6.30 am reaching kollam by 5pm on 31 at of December . Posting time lapse videos of the drive and pics . The best part was that I dint feel any lag even in terrains with the Ags . The stock lights gave ample lighting too .. met a couple with alpha variant manual ignis but they were not satisfied as the car was stalling . And they were astonished with our Ags climping the up hill . The average for the whole trip was 18kmpl which I fee is decent .

Hi mates ,
My pocket rocket has crossed 40k mark today and went for its PERIODIC SERVICE . This time it was done at Popular vehicles and services , last time gave it at Nexa service . Since this was a major service gave it to time tested and experienced hands . Changed engine oil, filter , coolant , Brake fluid and adjust, Fuel filter , dint change air filter as mine was swapped to K & N original ones . Changed spark plugs too . Now the car feels more confident to drive . The average now has improved since the last 30k service by another 1 more km . Shows 18 kmpl in both city and highway giving an average of 540km a full tank .

Last to last week was invited by NEXA Kollam , Kerala for unrevealing the all new Ignis BS6 . Was really astonished to see that I was been asked along with a police officer to De-Mask the new Ignis . I was even asked to give an ownership review too . Posting pics of the same along with the link of ownership review .

Hello fellas ,

Hope every one of you are doing good . The Covid pandemic has affected our life like anything . During the lock down my Ignis battery went down and got it jump started on April , the break down assist from the near by ASC helped out to do it and bring it back to shape . The car from then was running fine . Today evening ignis couldn’t fire up as the battery went really down . The ASC breakdown team arrived with a new Amazon Flow battery costed me 4630₹ on pocket . Last day had even renewed the insurance too . Total damage with insurance came up to15300₹ on the pocket . What a month to spend . Keeping fingers . Planning to change my City battery too as it has an old battery exchange programme .
