Best place in Uttarakhand to buy a piece of land for annual visit

Which place may be best in Uttarakhand to buy a small piece of land (like around two nalli which is valid also) for peace for annual visits, etc. I respectfully solicit the experts advise and comments.

I would suggest Dehradun. Though rates are not less, as it is the Capital.
Plus points - Quite peaceful and serene at night, Surrounded by Hills, Nearby to hill stations specially Mussoorie.

He is probably looking for a land ON the hills not IN the hills. My thoughts. A crowded city may not be in the mind.

Staying in city/town is not what most of us would prefer during a holiday hence I suggest to stay near (5-15 kms) larger towns as otherwise you might have trouble accessing the essential stuff like food, medication etc. Though the price would be higher as you go near to a town but I believe its worth spending.

Try Piru-madara 5 kms before Ramnagar (UK) near Jim corbett park. A 100 yards land will be available for some where around 2 lacs. Its close to nature.
