Bhutan Ride on Oct 2016

Hey Travelers,

Am from bangalore and planning for ride to Bhutan on Oct last week. I would need few info like itinerary for 10days. How do we take our bike from Bangalore and so ? I also wanted to know if any one interested with this ride to join us.

Take the bike till NJP (New Jalpaiguri) all are weekly trains from bangalore.
Better train will be YPR-Kamakhya AC Exp which leaves from YPR at 8.30 AM on Saturdays and reaches NJP at 5.30 AM
Once you collect the bike head straight to Jaigaon/Phuentosholling . You can reach before lunch and try to get the permit on the same day for yourself and for vehicle.
Stay the night in Phuentosholling.
Next day start your ride to Thimphu which takes 5-6 hours with breaks.. Stay night.
