I agree with your definition of documentary but this isn't a documentary. I just mentioned "shot during our recent Bhutan Photography Expedition" its an AV of an expedition.

Haha, that is what it turned out to be - 'an AV of an expedition', which, in my opinion, is a far cry from what a 'Photography Expedition' ought to result in.
