Brand New Royal Enfield Classic -350 Right Side Pulling

Hi Everyone,

I have got a new RE Classic 350.From the day of delivery i had noticed that the bike had right side pulling when i take both hands off the handle bar.

I contacted the Service Center;the next morning i took the bike to them.I was informed that it was an issue with front tyres and they have replaced the complete front tire set with an aligned one.

When i took a test tide,i noticed that the issue was 95% fixed, when informed about the minor right side pulling, the service person told me that the spokes may be loose and it will be fixed after first service.

Now after riding around 200KM,the RH Pulling issue is showing up again.I'm worried that this might be a major issue with the frame or something. Its been like 2-3 days since i have got the bike,is there an option for bike replacement or something.

Please advice.

It happens with all RE, they all pull towards right side when you hand off.
Also the rear fender is not properly aligned
Seems like its a design flow.

Get the front rim spokes tightened from some good outside trye wala it will get ok. I had this issue in both my bulls and wheel alignment had solved it. Or else u can also get the chimta or the cone set redujusted .

@matrix121 : Firstly, Welcome to the troubled world of RE!!
I am just copying and pasting the issue and solution below:

There might be three reasons due to which there'll be wobbling (pulling):

1. Check the alignment of both the wheels, especially rear tyre
2. Check the ball bearing of rear wheel
3. Get the spacer checked. (It's the center swing arum with plastic bushes. The plastic bushes might have worn out).

There's another reason but I doubt that it might be the case, i.e. rear tire might have bubble.

I had a troubled spacer and ball bearing in my Electra, which I replaced with metal one (of same specs).
If you're in Bangalore then PM me your number. I can guide you to the mechanic who'll fix your issue.

Cheers!

One of my friend in AMBALA have bought Classic 350 one and half year back. He have the same problem from Day1. During 1st year a lot of RE mechanic from Delhi, Gurgaon reached AMBALA service center and nobody able to resolve issue. One of them said that this is manufacturing problem. Finally my friend file an case in Consumer court. Let see what happen next.

Haha, But till now no Bike other than RE providing such a pleasant cruising experience (except Avenger). Now a days Bike launching with dual purpose Cruising + Sports. I can't say how good will engine perform. But knows only thing cruising bike demands respect. We can't use cruising bike as a sports bike.
