Buying Land in Himachal Pradesh

knock knock any updates thinking of shifting to Himachal in a next 3 or 4 years or so not mine my parents idea hurray :rock: near Dharmpur,solan,kumarhatti or dagshai,any suggestions talked with few agents there rate is around 35 lacs for 2 bhk and around 63 lacs for 4 bhk what u say guys badly needed ur valuable suggestions.

63 lacs for 4 BHK is nice but on the costly side, what size and location? I think Solan is much better and green

[MENTION=333]rkbharat[/MENTION] near Dharampur bro talk to the locals there one of my friends sister is a teacher in Dagshai school and living there from last 20 years,according to them no one can purchase land in Himachal for residential use or agriculture use people here are cheating other state people by giving their land on lease for 99 years yes u can buy flats from government authorised builders and ur safe bet is Solan so i am also now looking at Solan but i am not intersted in flats whether it is 2 bhk or 4 bhk we want villa type.

I believe the State Government gives land for commercial purposes including Hotel / Guesthouse. If you have the money, buy a larger plot somewhere build your house in a corner and use rest of the area for a Guesthouse / Hotel. If you can't run it yourself, I believe you can approach hoteliers in the vicinity who will be glad to pay lease to you.

Non Himachali can buy land only if he is staying prior to 1972 and still resident of Himachal or carrying domicile of Himachal which is now issued after 20 years of stay in Himachal and still residing in Himachal.
There are certain criteria s led for outisider`s intending to buy Non-Agricultural Land in Himachal for which permission from State Government needs to be required.
However there`s no restriction if you want to buy a built up property.

[MENTION=225]Prasham[/MENTION] bro i am thinking of starting a cab buisness in Himachal after settling down in Himachal all india permit with a fleet of 5 or 6 toyota innovas and a 2 or 3 tempo travellers any suggestions.
