Cabinet approves Zoji La Tunnel Project!

Srinagar - Leh Highway is all set to become an all-weather road, with cabinet approving construction of 15km long Zoji La tunnel. Project is expected to Rs. 9,090 crore and would provide a much needed all weather route for civilians, as well as the army.

Lets see how fast the work gets completed for this considering the speed of work on for Rohtang tunnel.

Execution and implementation is always a problem in India, however it is good that the project itself has been approved, even if it takes several years for it to be completed.

officially they have fixed seven years to complete the project.. that means 10 years minimum in common parlance if all other circumstances remain favourable
