Car camp like tent camp

Hi everyone,
I stay in Mumbai and there is a shooting star watching event up for 14-15 Dec 2018. So I booked a tent camp to experience this event. This trip first this kind of trip with my family.

So like we all know about tent camps where we can stay overnight or used for trekking in some remote areas. Does anyone knows something similar where we can park our car and stay overnight? Something like RV Parks in USA.

The reason behind is:

1. It will be easy to carry things in car rather pulling them on your back
2. Don't have to rely on public transport
3. Can do frequent trips

Obviously I can go to a resort at some remote location and get the same experience. But wanted to do differently in case this is possible.
