chai stalls in manali

did u know there are lots of tea stalls in manali..at every corner. well i love tea specially masala chai in winters.we discovered this great chai stall..its adjacent to the johnsons cafe wall....at the entrance of the lane to hotel pinewood. its shiva tea stall if i remember correctly. he serves awesome chai and is always crowded there. he was also serving butter toast with tea and there were lots of folks at 8 am enjoying his chai.

I found the best tea of my life a few kms away from manali... in Batal

It was snowing outside, I was completely drenched, when I reached Batal I was shivering badly and that cup of tea (actually it was a glass ) saved my life.

P. S. I had tasted tea at couple of tea stalls in Manali & Nr. Shimla, I think people there like their tea to be like deserts... very sugary!

prasham i totally agree with u ..as no matter how much we told the chai wallahs to put very little tea they would still add so much that if this is less then what would a regular cup be like....totally sugary. then we started asking for tea without sugar.
