Comfortable hotels in Srinagar

Hi

I am traveling with my family which includes a sr. citizen. I have stayed in house boat in dal lake. Though experience is worth taking but not a comfortable one. As too much noise from adjacent house boats and no privacy.

Could you please recommend good hotels on boulevard road. I need to stay in srinagar for 3 nights.

Hotel Aziz, sort of a higher end budget hotel. Good staff and decent rooms.

JKTDC has Hotel Heemal on the Boulevard Road as well. Their Cheshmeshahi Resort is not too far off the road either.

There are several other hotels along the road as well, including Lalit and Viventa by Taj.

Any recommended hotels close to the Srinagar-Leh highway? (Would help get a quick exit from Srinagar the next day.) Budget 5K, stretchable.
