कोरोना मज़ाक़ है क्या ? PM Modi को ग़ुस्सा क्यों आया ? Live session with Rubika
[5 minutes...] I only understand a few random words, I clicked to see the beauty [and she speaks very nicely too...] but few English phrases,...easy to get the gist of it, of course. Including what I said all along - only China has the capability of complete lockdown...and it is reflected in the situation now. What we will see may be worse than Italy.

That capability includes people/social tendencies. I saw today, someone mentioned Germany situation compared to Italy and Spain, and Germany been doing much mass testing. But I think the general tendency of people is also a factor... Germans, like Chinese and Japanese, have tendency of more civic obedience and cooperation.

Day 2 here, yesterday, small city, line of people outside supermarket...police arrived, fired rubber bullets, then used whips. Best communication. [actually it is the plastic whip thing...SA equivalent of lathi. Last time people saw that was 1980s...]

It is understandable, you can't leave big gaps in a queue, people will push in, but...\

Day 1, 55 arrested. Included some group/s in one place where many people phoned police to complain those people were saying joking things and making big parties.

That should be the spirit.
These smarties go to big cities to earn big bucks but will never spent a dime in city from their own pockets.
They love to live like parasites on the economic system.
They in spite of earning well in cities do not wish to spent or contribute to City's economy.
Inspite of earning 700 to 2000 rupees per day love to live below poverty line and enjoy government subsidies. All the money earned in cities are used by them to purchase new agriculture lands in their native places.

What would have happened if they would have locked themselves like others in their city dwellings and spent some saved money on food e.t.c from their pocket.
They choose to flee to greener pastures in spite government providing them free rations and accommodation. They are smart they know it is harvest time and in rural areas they will make good earning as farm hands. Most of them have their own lands to take care at this time of season.

This greedy lot has turned the serious effort of complete Lockdown a mere joke, not only endangering their own lives but also of people they are meeting on the way to their villages.

Why police fails to contain or stop them from moving in hordes from village to other.
Why were Shoot at Site orders not given to stop them from breaking Law.

Media is showing hordes and hordes of Village bound Workers and workmen abandoning cities, claiming all these have been rendered Jobless by Sarkari order of lockdown.
Only Ten days back same media including You, used to show unbelievable data of Unemployment and recession generated due to Government policies.
If so many were unemployed already then how come these people have suddenly lost their Jobs now.

Same thing can be said about immigrants that they send money back home. However, it is the poverty and greed that drives migration. It is a choice and people need to be given their freedom to work and send or spend the money wherever they want. You could turn this around and say that Delhi benefits from these workers because they keep inflation low for Delhites and real-estate occupancy rates improve with these migrants.

Many of these are actually evicted out of their homes by landlords who fear they may not get their rents.

India has created conditions for other diseases to spread and kill people. I am now certain that at least 100,000 people are going to die. Hunger and walking are going to take a toll on the immune systems of people. The squalor and migration camps are going to lead to diseases. People are going to drink dirty water when temperatures go up.

There are only three options when you are a leader-- lead, follow or get out of the way (resign). Only India offers an option to its PM who can say sorry and wipe his problems away.

You can very well see that they are unwanted in their own home state, CM Nitish Kumar has sealed Borders for them. They are not Syrians refugees in Turkey trying to enter Greece but citizens of same country moving in hordes to ignoring law of land .
This innocent Lot simply knows to breed children hoping more they breed more they bring money back home.
They go to other states to steal Jobs from Locals.

When Maharashtra was angry with them on same issue and driving them out then same CM was angry but now he himself is creating trouble for them. Instead of closing doors to them he should have quarantined them some where inside his state only.
Closing doors will create law and order problems now.

Trump makes the stark admission a US virus death toll of up to 200,000 means 'we will have done a good job' and claims his actions saved TWO MILLION - as lockdown extends until April 30 and death toll soars past 2,500

By Katelyn Caralle, U.s. Political Reporter For Dailymail.com and Ariel Zilber For Dailymail.com23:39 BST 29 Mar 2020 , updated 07:09 BST 30 Mar 2020

Donald Trump said Sunday that the administration is extending the coronavirus guidelines

Social distancing recommendations, which were originally imposed for 15 days, will remain until April 30

The president admitted that his Easter deadline for the country to be up and running was just an 'aspiration'

Trump said it's likely the fast-spreading respiratory virus will peak in two weeks, which is right around Easter

Dr. Anthony Fauci said the number of dead Americans is estimated to be between 100,000 and 200,000

Global count of coronavirus cases surpasses 700,000 - with US emerging as the new global epicenter

As of Sunday night, there were more than 142,600 cases of coronavirus in the United States

New York State alone reported nearly 60,000 confirmed cases of the disease as of Sunday

In New York City alone, 33,474 people have tested positive for coronavirus - a third of those in Queens

Other cities are emerging as potential hotspots, including New Orleans, Detroit, Chicago, and Los Angeles

Coronavirus symptoms: what are they and should you see a doctor?

President Donald Trump said on Sunday that he would consider it a 'win' and a 'very good job' if he can manage to keep the death toll from coronavirus to between 100,000 and 200,000 since estimates put it at more than 2 million if he did nothing.

Trump, who has largely avoided talk of potential death and infection rates, cited projection models that said potentially 2.2 million people or more could have died had social distancing measures not been put in place.

And he said the country would be doing well if it 'can hold' the number of deaths 'down to 100,000.'

He said the best case for the country would be for the death rate to peak in about two weeks.

'It’s a horrible number,' Trump said, but added, 'We all together have done a very good job.'
