Couple Hotel in Leh under 1000 INR per Night

Hi,

Booking dates: 28 Sep to 30 Sep.
Place: Leh city

I have been to Ladakh several times on my own Motorcycle. This time it's different. I am going with my wife and another couple via Airplane from Delhi to Leh.
So, I have the following queries. Please help:

1. Suggest a good hotel under 1000 rs per night in LEH. Couple friendly. The attached bathroom is a bonus.
2. The hotel should be walking distance to LEH market.
3. How much Cab pick up will cost from Leh airport to Leh Hotel?

Hi,
We just returned from Ladakh today.
1) Try Dorje Guest House at Upper Tukcha Road. He quoted us 850/day including Breakfast. Though I didn't stay here because due to his late reply, I went there & saw the rooms. They are Nice. We Stayed at another GH near to it.
2) It is around 500 -600 metres from market.
3) From Airport to Hotel it is around 450/ to 500/. We paid Rs 450/- from the prepaid taxi counter in Airport to reach our hotel in upper Tukcha road.

I stayed in Hotel Tsomoriri on Fort road.

Got rooms at 800 and once at 600 due to deal. + free breakfast
Rooms were good with attached bathroom.
