Its been almost 8 years since my last travel post here. Glad to get back the mojo and here's my latest ride to Chitkul over a weekend.
Ride Dates - March 11th-14th, 2022
Itinerary -
> 2000 hrs - March 11th, 2022 - Departed from Delhi
> 0700 hrs - March 12th, 2022 - Reached Narkanda (430 kms - 11 hours)
> 1700 hrs - March 12th, 2022 - Reached Sangla (160 kms - 10 hours)
Stayed at Hotel Lake View facing the 300 Baspa Hydro Project Reservoir (INR 900/- per room per night)
>1030 hrs - March 13th, 2022 - Departed from Sangla
>1230 hrs - March 13th, 2022 - Reached Chitkul (25 kms - 2 hours)
>1430 hrs - March 13th, 2022 - Departed from Chitkul
>1130 hrs - March 13th, 2022 - Reached Narkanda ( 185 kms - 9 hours)
>0900 hrs - March 14th, 2022 - Reached Delhi (430 kms - 9.5 hours)
Overall Fuel Spent - INR 4800/-
We rode in through two whole nights in the mountains with the view as far as our headlights would reach. Desperate to break the office monotony here's a glimpse of the Ride, a detailed travelogue will follow:
