Wonderful Tlog Sajal, must be great experience. Beautiful photos of sunset, curved roads, hills and water falls of course. Enjoyed watching photos and reading it. I stay at Hyderabad and visit Vishakapatnam now and then. Hope this place can be easily reached from there. Can you please through light on availability of accommodation at these places if we travel with ladies and kids or we can make it round trip in single day from Srikakulam or Vizayanagaram?
Thanks Shekar Reddy ji for reading and appreciating the travelogue.

Deomali is only 200 KM from Vizag. You can also visit Araku Valley while coming back. See the map below.
Deomali Vizag.JPG

You can easily do one day trip as it will be 400 KM from Vizag.

But I suggest to make it two days :-
Day 1. Vizag - Vizianagaram - Salur Ghati - Deomali - Sunabeda. (night stay)
Day 2. Sunabeda - Araku Valley - Anakapalle - Vizag.
For better night stay options, You can also stay at Araky Valley on day 1.

There are good hotels at Sunabeda (Nalco's Damanjodi nearby). But nothing is available from Kundili to Deomali. So carry water, snacks etc with you.

All The Best
:D

Thanks Subhankar Paul ji..... for this appreciation.....
from Kolkata you can go to Vizianagaram via train ....then from Vizianagaram to Deomali via Salur ghati you can go via taxi/cab ...it is 132 KM from Vizianagaram. only last 2.6 Km is bad road...rest is very good road, So you can do one day trip from Vizianagaram. Next option is to go via Vizag...it will be 200 KM.

But do arrange water and food for Deomali top , as nothing is available there.

Best of Luck !

Lovely write-up @sajalsheth Bhai. You are a inspiration to all of us & not to mention you are the live-wire in our group. It was this travelogue, after seeing which we rode to Deomali on Jan 2015. Being inexperience we missed a lot of points that you have clearly mentioned here. We have chalked out again same plan of Deomali, Duduma waterfalls & Araku Valley, but this time keeping in minds of all the points you had mention.

Will be waiting for new travelogue of the adventure you going to take in coming months. Best of luck for that :). And the whole group will also waiting to restart our odisha road trip on November when you get back.

Cheers :)
