Hi Prasham,
When I saw this review, I almost made up my mind to stay here for a day and so we did. And thanks a lot to your recommendation. It was a great experience and Mr. Dhanaraj is a very helpful and an awesome jolly person to interact with. We had long discussions from nature to politics to dogs and what not. The staying experience was probable one of the best that I've ever experienced. If I visit LRK again then surely this would be the place where I would stop-over.
Price is now changed and 1.7k per person which includes lunch/dinner/breakfast and Safari. We missed the evening Safari as we reached late but spend the whole morning there and it was just awesome. I'm still thinking that we should've stayed another day there. Great place for nature lovers (both LRK and Desert Coursers).
Regards,

Prasham,
Thanks for the info. Am curious to know if you are aware of any other stay options too in Zainabad or within 50km radius so as to cross the LRK the same day and reach Dholavira?
How about Viramgam? Can there be one at Dasada?

There are few accommodation options now on border of Rann. There is Rann Riders at Dasada, Royal Safari Camp (or similar name) near Patdi, some accommodation options are available at Dhrangadhra (Army Cantonment) too. Viramgam too should have a few accommodation options :)

Nice review. I too had plans to stay here last year on my way back to Delhi from Jamnagar, but had to cut short my trip.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Prasham for the inputs. I did finish the trip successfully and stayed at Desert Camps at Zainabad. I did not take their Safari package as I had my own Safari (my truck) and opted for only room and dinner. believe me it is very affordable and best place to be. I strongly recommend.

No cheating or exorbitant prices. As it was getting dark, I first tried with Rann Raiders which turned out to be very costly 4500 for myself, wife and two kids' night stay dinner and breakfast, so did not go with them but facilities seem to be better their so if one has different priorities, one can go there.
