DAY 6/ 1st OCTOBER 2017 : KASOL to TOSH to KASOL (40 kms)

i woke up at 6.30 in the morning. decided to take a stroll. i thought at least now it wont be crowded and jam packed. i was partially correct , though the main market area near the bridge was still crowded. i went till a little further away from the evergreen cafe when i saw a herd of sheep heading inside kasol into the main road. it was fun watching the sheep blocking the way for cars and creating a different kind of a traffic jam. i was so happy. at least some one got back to these reckless drivers :supz::supz::finga::finga:

after the breakfast we left for tosh at about 9.15 am. manikaran looked like a mess with unhindered concrete structures coming up everywhere and with cars parked at every croner and 5 levels(may be more) of the parking lot choc a bloc.

by 11 am we were in barshaini. and so was half of north india. cars, buses, tempo travellers parked on both side for about 2 kms before barshaini. i could see youngsters trekking to kheerganga in thousands. both the trails to kheerganga on either side of the river were dotted with human heads for as far as my eyes could see. was devastated from inside. i got to come back here at a non holiday time. so much so that seeing the crowds i dropped the idea of hiking till kutla. because i wasnt going to kutla for a MELA. next time i thought. anyway somehow we reached tosh parking area by 11.15 am. though the views and place was so so charming and beautiful.

DAY 6/ 1st OCTOBER 2017 : KASOL to TOSH to KASOL (40 kms) CONTINUE......

we started to walk towards the hilltop cafe at the extreme end and top of tosh. it was a gentle walk though at places steep steps made it difficult for my parents, but they were sporting enough to continue. the plan was to reach the hilltop cafe. rest there for a while and may be have lunch there somewhere.
