Hello samurai ... Khamzang ena lay.. Juley..
Thanks a million. The idea of the thread came into my mind by the grace of almighty God and I do hope this will do something in practical to save the mountains of Himalayas which is presently under acute pressure and threat from the environmental, forestry, wild life, flora and fauna point of view. Your effort to save the Himalaya will go a long way indeed. Yes the traveler do often this and through even the Bear and Whisky Bottles from the windows of the vehicle as this happened with me once on NH 21 while riding behind a Car in the dark when they threw some bottles of whisky and bear and the God saved me that time to start this thread now. Thanks again .. Juley..

Top Singhji, Khamzang ena Lay, Juley! Great idea. Coming from a veteran like you, we will all find this very useful! When I went on my first trip to the Himalyas, I had no one to advise me! Great initiative indeed! Waiting for the tips!
Hello..oriole..Khamzang ena lay.. Juley..
Oriole ji thanks a lot, seems you are interested in Himalayan language too. This is nice, if you only say the above sentence in Himalayas at any place that may be in Leh-Ladakh, Spiti, Lahaul, Kinnaur, Tibet, Sikkim, Bhutan, Arunachal Pradesh etc. you will be replied suitably with the following sentence and will open the doors of their houses respectfully for a local dinner and night stay:-
" Ean Lay, Juley, Nangla shoog lay"
Yes, obviously I am going to start it soon.. Juley..

Eager to hear some tips from you Singh sahab. As far as I can remember you are a hard core Biker and had done Leh at least 15 times.
Hello .. tejasnikhar... Khamzang ena lay... Juley...
Thanks a lot dear tejasnikhar. Yes, am a biker and trekker by birth and done leh not at least but more than 15 times as in early age we never count the trips but now the travelers use to count everything, take snaps of the trip, make video, start travelogue, write diaries etc. but earlier it was not so, the life was slow, there were no roads and vehicles so we generally go on foot from Manali to Keylong, Manali to Kaza and Manali to Triloknath (Udaipur) with loads on the back. Dear Tejas it was you who advised me once in HIMVANI.COM to join the BCMT and later I joined it and am proud to be a BCMT member.. Thanks a lot again.. Juley...

friends my advise is to feel like home in himalaya and do whatever you would love to do at your home and keep it as you would love to see your home to be. like you suggest your guest not to litter in your home, suggest others not to litter himalaya.
Hello sandeep .. Khamzang ena lay.. Juley....
Thanks a ton sandeep for your valuable advise and sentiments on Himalayas. Its true we should treat the Himalayas as our home so it should be kept clean always. I remember the days of 2003 we were with the banners of Keep Himalaya clean and green from Kullu in a biking expedition to Leh-Kargil-Srinagar. The shelling was going on between Nimu to Ghumri and we were with banners and papers in hand in the above rally in Kargil and stayed in Drass. So we mobilized the people in such a crucial time of Kargil war also. Okay thanks again.. Juley..

One request to all, don't honk like mad while in hills. People are generally good and allow you to overtake, if and when there is enough space!
Hello.. Yogesh Sarkar... Khamzang ena lay.. Juley..
Thanks Sir ji.. It can prevent road accident also if we overtake only when the driver allow us to overtake by flashing signal or by raising hand through the door window.. These are the important tips we all should follow while riding in Himalayas otherwise in Delhi-CHD route the riders overtake at their own will from the left side in high speed and my co-rider says it is safe but I think it is not good... Thanks again.. Juley..
