Crossed Raiganj around 6.30 AM and took a break just before the "BottleBari crossing towards Rudel, Rashkhawa". Now advantage of Dalkhola, is you can drive fast , Rudel at some places driving fast is difficult since the road is narrow and continuous village traffic is there., but again driving is better, road condition is better only the last leg from "Biprit" to Dhantola has got pot holes and craters, but drive-able. Usually we take breakfast in the same Dhaba, just after crossing Dhantola, on NH31, few kilometers before Islampur Identification: just opposite is a Indian Oil Petrol Pump
. The Dhaba is clean and space is nice.

Taste very good

Fresh Hot Roti, Salad, Soyabean curry and Chicken Masala (Kasha), with two glasses of Lassi . Fantastic. Quantity was generous.

Food was too good.
Filled Bolero to the brim, Checked air pressure, Hills may not hve such facilities, so no risk.
Then we started our journey towards Lataguri via Sevok Road, and NH31, Mal Bazar, Chalsa turn right . 23 kms from Chalsa... Wanted to go inside Gorumara Reserve forest. "Gorumara National Park is a National Park in northern West Bengal, India. Located in the Terai region of the Himalayan foothills, it is a medium-sized park with grasslands and forests. It is primarily known for its population of Indian rhinoceros"

But may be Luck was not in our favour. Came to know that The park is only opened Thursday now , and it was Saturday that day. When I saw my son with a gloomy face, I winked at him, do not worry son, we will visit a more denser one :)

Tall Trees, 6 ft / 7 ft high

After spending time and driving through the forest, we drove to Malbazar to taste the local momos opposite the famous "Hanuman Temple", and it was around 5.15 PM, we started climbing towards Lava ,Lolegaon, to our Tea Estate, Through Gurjhang Jhora Forest and , Goodricke's Meanglass Tea Estate.. Scenic beauty was beyond words. Monsoon has changed the entire flora and fauna .

It was 6.20 when we reached the Bungalow

We were greeted with Clonal Darjeeling Tea, a kind which is very rare and 100% is being exported. Advantage to be a well known contributor to Tea Industry

It was Sunday, 31st July 2016 and a pay day for workers. Every fortnight, payment is done, so usually no plucking but only official work. I am an early riser and this day was also no exception .............

A good cup of tea and started the morning slow. We were no hurry as we suppose to start for Neora River and Mal forest after breakfast. So thought of entering the section of the Estate which was a few metre distance from the Bungalow.

Around 10 we drove to the factory Office and were happy to found that the Estate manager would take us to the sections and to the Neora River and Mal forest. Was more than glad, as he knew in and out of the garden and its surroundings........ We were touched

Climbing down to the river......... Permission is not required when the Manager Himself is there with us..... Its usually not for tourists. Thank you Sir
