Ramkey what info you need for Zanskar?
I have seen a road run parallel for some distance, but not all the way. From Panikhar, there are three roads (one running through town, old abandon one on the right hand side towards the top of town and new one outside the town on the left, across the river) till a little beyond Tangol. After a while, the old abandon one and the one going from the middle of the town, merge together and go through Tangol. While the the one on the left hand side, continues and merges together a few kms after Tangol. Are there 2 roads from Kargil-trespone-sanku-panikar, the upper one and lower ones?
Bharat, Just tried it....... was opening, Will mail you one direct.Hi ramky,
I couldn't open any of the attached doc - getting `error in opening doc' and `file could not be found' only.
there is only one road goes to karsha, that from tungri. From padum road goes to tongde and up to pishu. Trek from zanskar goes from here. But there is a trek from karsha to pishu also.

Apart from Rangdum Gompa, there are Nun and Kun peaks and in Sankoo there is a shrine of Sayed Mir Hasim. There are also a few mosques en route, but nothing major apart from the beautiful views.
Unfortunately don't know more about rest of the places.
