Eco huts, Pangong Tso (Lukung), Ladakh

YS: I can live with staying 100 -200 mtrs away from the lake. Atleast that way will not get into the lake in the dark, ;).
OT: I used to have a nice waterproof camping tent but buggers at the ICD Gazipur blody stole it :damn:

MC, it's not as easy as you imagine; this flying on air!
It takes extraordinary gusto, and correct diet, to release it with sufficient force to levitate yourself!! LOL!! :p
ROTFL
Anyways Anupji, I didn't mean flying in air literally. I meant it more metaphorically being in high spirits and flying in the air

Depends on your bargaining powers :D, but take it as a serious advice and avoid staying in tents near Pangong Tso and either stay in the Eco Huts or guest house at Spangmik. In evening it gets extremely windy and cold.

Just curious, what are the chances of getting rooms at the eco hut on arrival by say 11am-1pm? I mean, can we just book it once we reach there?

They usually run full during peak season. Later in the season, after mid-Sept or so, your chances of finding a vacancy are greater.
