Electra seat modified to TB seat

Hi,

Electra seat feels uncomfortable for me though it is a nice one.
I like TB seat which gives nice comfort.
Has anyone modified their seat to TB OR is it possible.
If yes/no please suggest on this also if done please send your bike pic.

By TB Seat you mean Old TB Seat? Then it is very much possible only thing you need to do it source a seat stay for old TB.
Rest is I guess a direct fit.

Stock Electra seat is hard. you can contact a seat maker & get it softened by adding some foam like i did or you can also change the whole seat setup, though i am not sure old TBTS seat is soft enough or not?

If you think from the long ride point of view then, soft seats are not comfortable, In-fact make it little harder.

even new TB seats can fit on the electra with minor modifications to the frame. like adding metal loop on each side of the frame after the petrol tank. However that being said i dont know where you are. In Bangalore there is a shop called Rao's in shivajinagar which is famous for seats. you can approach them. or if you are in Delhi you have khajanchi who is very well known for the kind of seats they come up with. they customize it as per your requirement. if you are in Maharashtra i guess there are people here who can guide you through as to where you can get it done.

IMHO i feel old tb seat will not suit electra. it would look odd. its better to change the foam. you also get good foams on www.royalenfieldzone.com, www.royalsgarage.com, www.amazon.in, www.ebay.in. , im sure you would know all these website. however go through you might find something that suits your requirement. Best thing is to customise your present seat to your liking.
