Ford Endeavour Performance in Leh

Hi,
I am thinking of buying a used Ford Endeavour 3.2 (4x4) AT Titanium Plus which is in good condition. One of my relatives has mentioned that he took Endeavour 2.2 4x4 AT to Leh a couple of years ago and it actually got stuck on higher altitudes (Khardungla, Changla) due to lesser oxygen.
Can someone confirm if this is still true for Endeavourr if they have travelled to Leh on Endeavour. I am trying to identify if that was a one off incident or a very common one.
Thanks,

I don't think there would be any problem, had been there thrice with 3 different car's/models (Diesel/Petrol) but never had any problem in the entire circuit.

2.2 Was never sold with AT and 4WD, AT was 2WD and 4WD was Manual.
3.2 Was AT 4WD, and it does fine.
However there have been recent reports of the latest 2.0 struggling at high altitudes.

I have a 3.0 4WD AT, and I recently completed full Spiti Circuit without any issues and drove upto Shinku La too without issues.
My Endy's User Manual does mention that performance may Suffer at 16000+FT
