Maybe OT here but I couldn't find any other thread that deals with this. Are there any suggestions for a SLR repair shop in Mumbai. I'm sure the official guys suck so I wanted to figure out if there are any alternatives.

You can find a few in the Bora bazar lanes (opposite CSMT, fort area). Personally I have got a lens serviced at a shop called 'Popular electronics' but I think they do only lens work. The location is tagged on Google maps. Just in the same there are 3-4 SLR repair shops as well. Try visiting and asking once.
