Fuel availability in Ladakh and Zanskar

So what would be some trusted bunks along the srinagar -leh route.
For first timers aNd Folks who are picky about fuel quality (like me)

Is there any post available about Dhabas or good eating places on all the routes like this? :)

Tankup at Srinagar and then at Kargil (first bunk after the bridge). Even there the fuel quality isn't going to be good and will get progressively worse in Ladakh.

Are we allowed to carry spare fuel from srinagar itself?
My car can hold about 40Lts and i have 20lts can .

Why do you need 20 liters spare?

At max 6-8 liters ought to be enough to take you to Leh, unless you get less than 10kmpl and that much you can fill up at Kargil.
 
one of the key areas or things is to know about road conditions that you might expect along with the fuel stations or availability of fuel within Ladakh or in roads to Ladakh like Manali – Leh Highway and Srinagar – Leh Highway.
