Leh'd and how!
Okay no more technical stuff. Few years back I was on a vacation. I was using two camera Nikon D3200 with 50mm 1.4G (APSC) and Canon G7X (1") simutaneously.
Canon G7X was a perfect all rounder. Great reach, colors, clarity, low noise performance, compact.
Theoretically, G7X is Canon's response to the RX100 and apart from the legacy, is actually the better option between the two.

My only fear with switching to a fixed lens camera is its limited range. I don't need the ultra-high quality of the DSLR but losing the versatility makes me anxious. On the other hand, the portability of a G7X/ RX100 will allow me 10x more pictures and eventually more keepers (more for memories rather than creative achievement).

What options are you considering??

Confused between RX100 mark 3 and Sony A6000. Inclined towards the former. Yet to order.

Sold the camera, the damage is already done. Let's hope the compact camera isn't too limiting :D
Tanveer Bhai went for NEX only as it is handy.
