I visited Rudraprayag in December 2008. Our hotel was the GMVN Guest House which is just next to Rudraprayag (where the rivers meet to be exact). Had I already known this place, I should've booked it.

Harneet/Dheeraj or anyone else who visited this place - Can you tell more about the descent to the hotel from main road. And how is the ascent from hotel to main road. Is it doable for the normal/averagehatchback or mid size sedan???

its awesome..weather is clean whole day and blessed with little showers in the evening for 1-2 hrs..

Prasham,August is peak monsoon season in North...
Expect heavy downpour with lots of landslide during August....
