Infact.. This place looks really really good.. If somebody visits in the month of June than I believe he should just pray for some rain..

It doesn't exist any more. Shall take no less than years to be there again.
Confirmed news? The cottages at the front stood no chance, even though they were at least 10 to 15 feet high from the bank

Maybe some on the backside have survived

OT: Now we can guess source of such huge boulders in the river bed - remnants of similar fury?

Was in News 3 days back. Very specifically mentioning this. The water level was more than 30 at places 40 feet normal. Even Rudraprayag bridge was well 25-30 feet above water level in even monsoon, however, it was breached by flood this time.
Cant drive there to see myself.

What a lovely place syalsaur is..I was there for 3 nights in February this year only.Cant believe that this place has been wiped out....No no..It would be difficult to restore such a natural place...My family will miss it....

Nice pictures, it is not completely wiped out as I understand from some pictures after June tragedy.
It is un operational right now as many of other GMVN's.
