GMVN Tourist Village Syalsaur

He has got great Sense of Humour.
Do not know how many prayed for Rains in June but He answered all prayers.

Nice pictures, it is not completely wiped out as I understand from some pictures after June tragedy.
It is un operational right now as many of other GMVN's.
Thats good to hear...maybe then the place would be operational in a years time.Hopefully my promise of coming back would become possible..

Was in News 3 days back. Very specifically mentioning this. The water level was more than 30 at places 40 feet normal. Even Rudraprayag bridge was well 25-30 feet above water level in even monsoon, however, it was breached by flood this time.
Cant drive there to see myself.

Its confirmed. Travails and Travels: Back to Kedarnath, The Valley of the Dead. The guest house is wiped out, mostly.
Since I do not have rights to post the pic here, posting the link.
Sajish, went with fellow BCMTians Tilak (Where Eagles Dare) & Sachin Gupta (Bullbola).

It was on my Radar for August visit, alas it could not happen.
Phone number of GMVN provided on this thread were dead or left unattended for long time after the tragedy stuck.

If Dilliwala of Indiamike is saying it is partially operational, he is authority on UK of India to be relied upon.

Plus We already have seen conflicting pictures of place and building after tragedy.

Sajish, has posted link of his blog on other forum, I was able to open that blog with bit difficulty and there is only one Picture after and one of before tragedy.

Myself was not able to make much out of two and am taking it with some pinch of salt.

Has anybody tried those landline numbers now recently.
