Since you are four friends, I can get you the contact number of a person who has a 1 bhk apartment in Goa near Calingute beach.

Its 3500rs , when we went New Year time. The apartment has a double bed in a room, sofa cum bed in the other room, washing machine, kitchen, fridge and dining table.

Apartment also has a swimming pool which you can use.

Its ideal for 4 people.

Even if there are two couples, the washroom has two separate entries from both the rooms and won't be a problem.

The owner is a quite a good person and I have stayed with him twice with friends.

You can ask the owner about the bike rentals and he will arrange for it.

200-250 RS for an active for full day, 500 RS for bullet.

The beaches that you should go to, are , Morjim Beach.

Its so quiet with mostly Russian crowd and while having a beer , you will feel so quiet and peaceful there.

Its cleaner too as compared to Calingute.

Baga beach is the one where Tito's is.

I don't gamble and hence no idea about it.

If you like clubbing, Tito's is the place to be.

5k entry, new year time, this time, it might be less.

Then there is Dil chahta hai point, singham point and all the points that people have named and you can go to.

All are doable in a day, depending on how much you drink and can drive .

The only beach that I liked was Morjim Beach.

Apart from that, every other beach had so much crowd, it was not serving the purpose of being secluded.

July isn't the right time for beaches in Goa. Forget water sports, it would be raining, the tides would be high and the guards wouldn't let you get into the water.

Not the time of year in Goa to enjoy beaches and water sports. All shacks and water sports activities will be closed. If visiting Goa in monsoon, one should opt for big resorts which offer lots of indoor activities. Rates are half that during peak season. Goa will be lush green and beautiful so riding bike when its not pouring will be fun

Looking at the wish list I think July is not the right time to Visit Goa.

If you want to visit beautiful and empty Beach, then go to South Goa...........There is a beach call Sarnabatim Beach which is not know to Indian crowd and you will find only foreigners there.......the place is clean and peaceful........

About Disco and casino you have to come to North Goa or Panjim..........Pubs near Calangute and Baga is a good place for hangout.

Dude seriously why Goa in July.........You will not get anything in July.....You will feel like everything is under shutdown. No shacks.......no water sports....... in order words nothing will be there except rains.......... On suggestion is, go to Dudh sagar Falls..........It is a treat during monsoon. It will take 8 hrs of your time but it is worth the time and effort.

Well.... if its only to drive through Goa in the rains, its a great time. you can do some activities like Dudhsagar trek using the railway track. Visit the temples and churches, Visit the forts and the beaches....but definitely not play in the water. You will have the beautiful nature all for yourself to soak in. So basically great for Monsoon Photoshoot. 2 wheelers are OK if you carry proper rain gear suitable for heavy downpour.

Apart from this, eat and drink at the popular restaurants....but remember that certain seafood is extremely costly or unavailable due to fishing ban during the period.

Few years back I had been to Goa with family and friends. I stayed at a resort which has its own beach area. As explained by others Monsoon isn't the time for Goa (actually the typical goan activities) but if you enjoy the overcast sky, playing on the beach, superb attention by the hotel staff (due to less customers) I believe Monsoon is the best time for Goa.
