Goa - Monsoon - August 2017 End Week..with Family....

Next Destination was Morjim Ashwem Beach. I am not sure tour bus take us to Morjim Beach or Ashwem Beach. Tour Guide told that it is Morjim Ashwem Beach and Russians like this beach. On the way we took lunch. If any one can figure out from pictures. which beach this is i will be glad. After lunch, we reached beach at 3pm. Spend some time their and then move towards next destination.

Next Destination was Vagator Beach. Vagator Beach is also a nice beach. Dil Chahta Hain Famed Chapora Fort is just here. We did not visit Chapora Fort, as the path to fort was muddy and slipery. We visited Vagator Beach, done some photo session their.

Now we move towards Anjuna Beach. Although i do not consider anjuna as a beach. It is more like a view point. Huge crowd their. Due to rainy season, waves are coming very high. We spend some time their. Now we have to back to home, as bus guide tell us that tour complete.

We told bus guide to drop us at Candolim Beach, as we want to spend evening on candolim beach. We enjoyed the evening at Candolim Beach. Then on way back, we booked next day tour to spice garden and harvalem waterfall nearby travel booking counter.

Then we back to our homestay, wife made some evening snaxs and then at 9pm, we took dinner at nearby restaurant. In North Goa this is our last night , in next day we move towards South Goa.

Next Day, travel bus pickup us from our homestay at 8 am. We now move towards South Goa, our remaining Goa staying will be in South Goa. Our 1st Destination is Harvalem Waterfall and Caves.

About Harvalem Waterfall and Caves: It is a 50meter height waterfall, looking stunning in monsoon season. Nearby a Old temple named Rudreswar Temple present and just 1kms from waterfall, a series of caves present named as Harvalem Caves.

Next Destination was Tambdi Surla Mahadev Temple, which is a 12th Century shiva temple inside of Bhagwan Mahaveer Wildlife Sanctury. We reached temple at 11.30am. Take darshan, made puja. Temple was well maintained. Surrounding of temple is lush green. A lot of monkeys in parking area of temple.

Then we move towards our next destination.

Our next point was Spice Garden Tour and Elephant Ride. We reached Spice Garden at 1.30pm. We welcome with a Herbal Tea. Then the guide take us to a tour of various spices.

I am not sure which spice garden , our tourist bus take us, so i have not posted route map.

Then we take lunch in that Spice Garden. Lunch was included in our tour package. Lunch was nice. Not many options but nice food. After that tour guide take us for Elephant Ride and bath. Unfortunately river water level is high, thats why in rainy season elephant bath not possible, only ride option available. My Younger Daughter afraid of elephant by seeing so closely, so started crying, so she did not join us on elephant ride.

Then our tour bus drop us at Panaji. As we have to move to Madgaon for staying in South Goa.

We have pickup Local Bus towards Madgaon Bus Stand, as our hotel is near to bus stand. We stayed in Hotel Avenue , near to bus stand. Hotel was nice , and they have in house restaurant also. We reached our hotel in 6.30pm. Then get refreshed Visited nearby market And called the day off.
