Goa to Bangalore road trip Oct 2020

Anyone planning a road trip from Goa to Bangalore or the other way around, please be prepared for very slow speeds between Hubli and Bangalore as every kilometre of the highway has diversions for overpasses under construction. Also PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THE ANMOD GHAT. Parts of it have been concreted, but none of the culverts have been made. The result is that all the bitumen and soil has been washed off leaving huge gaps in the road which are not motorable. AVOID ANMOD GHAT for the next one year at least.

Corrections, from Hubli to Chitradurga only there is diversion for 3+3 laning. Chitradurga to Tumkur is 3+3 lanes can be covered very quickly. Tumkur to Bangalore is old 2+2 lanes and it takes quite amount of time to cover for the distance.
