Good Leisure Resort in Daman

I and my family are planning a 2 nights leasure holiday in Daman, thus looking for a family friendly resort with good aminities and activities like indoor games and swiming pool. Preferring stay for 4 peeple in 1 room.
Dates - 13th-15th August 2013
Budget for 2 Nights Stay - 10K-15K

Kindly suggest good resort and share your experiance. If poosible contact info.

You can try Mirasol water resort in Daman. It had a nice big swimming pool and other activities as well.

I have not stayed there, but did have a look. it was way out of our budget when we had gone

There are loads of resorts in Daman but the dates you've mentioned aren't worth Daman. You'll find shit load of drunkards roaming everywhere. Better try some decent resort in Silvassa. It offers some water sport activities as well at Dudhni Laki. Some of the resorts I know are Ras Resort, Treat Resort, Khanvel Resort (needed a little renovation but pool and food were good) when I went last and there's a new resort just next to Khanvel Resort.

Diu has some very good resorts. In both my visits I've stayed at Radhika Resort which is bang on the resort. Few friends had tried Sugati Beach Resort on Suzlon Beach and they were happy with it. The former offers rooms around 3k while the later offers them for around 2.2-2.5k. Avoid visiting Diu on Public holidays or weekends.

Thanks very much, both of these have upped rates by Rs 800-1000... and I'm flying solo - so wouldn't mind a budget option Will probably pick something on Fort Road.
