I am sure, Dankar Monastery, the Spiti river in the top right edge. looking downwards, midway.

This Picture must be taken from Kye Monastery?
Zeroing down the options after identifying where all we get the bird's eye view in Spiti. I may be wrong in identifying the place and the second choice is pic taken from Dhankar monastery.

Ok, both you gents are thereabouts, Satish being just a wee bit closer

The shot was taken from the Tashigang plateau, very close to Gete village.
The image below will make things clear.
You can see the Kye monastery with the field in question prominently placed adjacent to the Kye village.
The Spiti river is right on top.
