Health Insurance help!

Hello!
I am looking for Health insurance for my Uncle (46 years age) and his family which includes spouse and 3 children.
Selecting a provider is secondary because of a doubt.
He & His spouse have been living at native place, whereas his children are living in mumbai.
I was looking for a family plan for him. In that case, can a same policy work at both places?? Lets say, mumbai and a hospital in panchgani?? If there are constraints, what should i specifically look for in a policy before finalizing a provider?

Thanks in advance. :)

Mediclaim Policies are 'all-India'. It does not matter where you live, or where you need medical services. The policy covers it all, except foreign locations.

I would recommend that you buy from one of the four nationalized companies.
A family policy will be advantageous as they offer some discount on the premium as compared to four or five individual policies.

Does your uncle or their child work in a company that provide corporate insurance. IMO that is that hassle free method, if available.

If you are looking for a single insurance policy which covers all family members(including children) and provided good return, then family floater mediclaim policy is just for you. Family floater mediclaim policy is designed only for family with their spouse. So, just go for this.

There are lots of good insurance providers in India which provided reliable and best family floater mediclaim plan like PolicyBazaar, HDFC, ICICI, BAJAJ, TATA and more. You are free to catch any provider, but I will recommend PolicyBazaar. Choice is your.

Hope, it helped you.
